Informative, Modern, Clear: 7Türme+ Has Its Own Website
From now on, interested parties can visit www.7tuerme-plus.de to learn about the tasks of the planned foundation, planned projects, and the various ways to support the preservation of the five Lübeck old town churches.
In the second half of the year, the 7Türme+ Foundation is set to begin its work. However, a dedicated website is already available. "We want to invite people to get firsthand information about the tasks the planned foundation will undertake and why we rely on financial support - both small and large," says Petra Kallies. The Lübeck Provost is one of the initiators of 7Türme+. Once the state of Schleswig-Holstein approves the foundation, the non-profit foundation will begin its work. The primary goal will be fundraising. Petra Kallies emphasizes that it will not be a church foundation: "This is not just about religion, it's about preserving our shared culture. It's about maintaining the heritage of the past for future generations."
Digital Visit to the Construction Sites
On the new website www.7tuerme-plus.de, interested parties from Lübeck and around the world can get both a compact and in-depth insight into all ongoing and planned construction measures in the Lübeck old town churches. "Visitors to the website will quickly realize that it's not just about the towers, but so much more – unique cultural monuments. That's why the planned foundation is deliberately named 7Türme+," explains Petra Kallies.
Anyone who wishes can take a digital tour of the construction sites in the chapels, vaults, and towers, watch the restorers and craftsmen at work, and "take a close look at the sometimes hidden damages that urgently need attention," emphasizes Provost Kallies.
But – and this is something the new website should also reflect – users will also be able to see which measures have already been completed with the help of many supporters. "Our new website also shows the various ways people can help support the five Old Town churches," says Petra Kallies.
New Website is Accessible
The organizers are also proud of the distinctive design with which 7Türme+ will increasingly appear in public. Even small details were emphasized. For instance, it is no coincidence that the dominant colours are church tower copper and brick red. The website is accessible and will also be available in English in a second phase. The brand presence was developed by the Lübeck-based agency "agenturhoch³," led by Managing Director Sandra Arentz-Hildebrandt: "We are delighted to contribute to the visibility and success of the 7Türme+ Foundation through the website. We were particularly fascinated by the deep insight into the renovation issues of Lübeck's Old Town churches, which we can vividly convey to Lübeck's citizens and visitors."
In October 2023, the Idea for the Planned 7Türme+ Foundation was Publicly Announced. The Possehl Foundation announced that it would support the project with a total of seven million euros over a period of seven years. Co-founders include the Lübeck-Lauenburg church district, the North Church, and the inner-city churches, as well as the state of Schleswig-Holstein, among others. The patron of the foundation, which is in the process of being established, is former Federal President Joachim Gauck.
