New 7Türme+ Calendar Makes Its Debut

On 4 October 2026, the new 7Türme+ Calendar 2027, which supports the preservation of Lübeck’s World Heritage, will be unveiled and go on sale for the first time in the market square outside the city’s town hall.

A launch at Lübeck’s harvest festival: on 4 October from 10 am, visitors will have their first chance to see and purchase the latest edition of the popular calendar featuring iconic views of Lübeck. Photographer Olli Zimtstern and Dr Jan Zimmermann, who curated the calendar’s historical photographs, will also be there to chat with visitors and sign copies.

A Launch in the Heart of Lübeck’s World Heritage Site

“It was important to us to do more than simply put the new calendar on sale. We wanted to present it to the public for the first time right here in the heart of Lübeck,” says Anika Stender-Sornik, Project Manager and Head of the 7Türme+ Foundation’s office. “The harvest festival in the market square offers a special setting for this – right at the heart of the World Heritage Site celebrated in this edition.”

This special edition marks the 40th anniversary of Lübeck’s UNESCO World Heritage designation in 2027. Alongside the seven towers, it therefore also features other landmarks within the World Heritage Site, including the Holsten Gate, the Castle Gate and the Hospital of the Holy Spirit. For the first time, Olli Zimtstern’s contemporary photographs are complemented on the reverse of the calendar pages by historical images selected by Dr Jan Zimmermann and accompanied by his short texts on the history of the buildings and the city.

Twelve Calendar Partners Among Lübeck’s Retailers

Following the launch on 4 October, general sales begin on 5 October. With support from Lübeck Management, the calendar will then be available from twelve retail partners in Lübeck. Each will display their favourite image from the new edition in their shop, giving the calendar a presence at various locations across the city. Their involvement also highlights the project’s close ties to Lübeck and its retailers.

Also Available Online and Through Bookshops from 5 October

The calendar will be available online through distribution partner Heinr. Hünicke Lübeck. It is also listed in the German Books in Print directory (VLB) and can therefore be ordered through bookshops.

The 7Türme+ Calendar 2027 costs €29.50. From every copy sold, €15 goes to the 7Türme+ Foundation to support the preservation of Lübeck’s historic city-centre churches.
